5 Google Search Tips

-Terms you want to exclude (-)
Attaching a minus sign show what part of a word you don't want to include. If you typed Sand Sharks, two things would come, sand and sharks. By adding a minus sign like this: (-)sand sharks only sharks will come up. This is a very good trick to use.

-Choose descriptive words.
When yo are searching for a word or looking for a useful website it is best if you use descriptive words. This way google know more about what you are looking for and can give you better websites to search on.

-Think how the page you are looking for will be written.
When you want to look for certain website you can imagine what the page would look like. Maybe what the title is or even a few words that might also be on the web page. This is a great way to search for websites.

-Search within a specific website (site:)
This means to go onto a website you trust or you know well and then search on them. This way you have an idea of what websites you can use and the ones that are helpful.

-Phrase search ("")
By putting double quotes round your word google know what word/words you are focusing on. By this google can find you the information that you want not ones that won't be so helpful.

By using these tips, finding things on google will be much easier!

My Reading Log

This is my reading log for English. Every lesson we write about what we read and the pages we read. This might be quite interesting to look at as you can see what books I have read and what I think about them. This could help you (if your a female) find a good book. My reading log is very useful too, as it keeps track of what im reading. So this is it, My Reading Log!
